{Spring} Pinterest Bucket List

So I have a love-hate relationship with Pinterest.  For the most part, I love it!  I think it's a great way to keep all my "ideas" in one area, and clearly none of them are my ideas but you get the point.

Before Pinterest came along, I was a bookmark junkie but rarely ever looked back at them.

I'm a visual kind of person if you will.  Yet I still pin a ton of things only to forget about them or never really do anything with it.

But I've decided that needs to change.  It's almost like a game for me.  How many things can I do/make that I actually pin?  And I want to win!  I don't want to let Pinterest overwhelm me get the best of me.

Realistically I don't have much room or time for any "side projects" but I do want to try to make a few fun things this spring.  So that's why I'm creating a Pinterest Bucket List.  A mini Pinterest here on my blog.

This way I have all the projects I want in one little place and not wasting spending hours searching through the hundreds of pins and boards I've acquired.

Blissful Beyer's Pinterest Bucket List

I think this would be perfect for a spring mantle.  Let's be honest I'll probably leave the bird off.  Ain't no one got time for that! ;)

Or this one for the front door.

We've implented Dave's envelope system so these would be perfect!

Would love to make these for kitchen and bathrooms and I already have the jars.

Want to attempt a few of these.  Which I'll need for my yarn letter.

Hmm yes, lots of these.

A necessity these days.

Would be ideal for the car, instead of everything strung about.

Love.

And maybe a few of these...

Looks like I better get busy... :)

Will you join me??  Let's see how many projects we can check off our bucket list this spring.

Invitations

I have really been on this invitation making kick. Here are a few I've recently done...

The fire truck one (the one @ the top) was for a baby shower I hosted last weekend. The shower turned out super cute! I will post all about it hopefully this weekend.

Until then, let me know what you think!

And I'm working on one right now for a special little girl will is having a pony party in March.

Stay WARM!!

Winner, Winner Scrap Dinner!

Woohoo! Everybody likes to be a WINNER! This would be my very first giveaway winner in the blog-O-world.

I am so very excited. Especially since I secretly had plans to buy this particular thing (in the near future), had I not won.

But a big ol' Texas sized "THANK YOU!" goes out to The Design Girl!!!! Because now I get it for free! And they say nothing in life is free...pssh.

Lately, I have been really interested in learning how to scrapbook digitally. And learning more in general about Photoshop, Fireworks, png files, overlaying, etc. All things that lucky for me, my smart hubby knows all about. Just a matter of sitting down & him teaching me. I can do basic stuff in Photoshop and everytime I play around with it, I tend to find myself wanting to know more (and quickly because I tend to dislike trial & error). Error tends to happen a whole lot more, ha!

So what exactly did I WIN??? I get to pick one of these sweet Color Your World kits from THE ah-mazing Design Girl Studio.

How fun is that???

Check out Design Girl's online store - Scrap Matters!

And there is a great sale going on right now. Here are the few things I recently purchased from ScrapMatters shop.

It's worth checking out & definitely worth being a follower of the her blog. Who knows...maybe you'll be the next one to win?! How fun would that be?!

There are so many great digital scrap kits on her site. I am hoping to purchase these in the near future.

& Funky Chic

Ohhhh every time I look at the site, I found something new I want/love! Well, my friends I better get going, I have lots to do before heading out of town for this weekend. Like cleaning my house & tackling the insane amount of laundry that has piled up. But also have lots of sewing I want to do...so I'm off to be productive! Plus now it looks like I better get to scrappin'...if ya know what I mean ;)

Have a lovely day!

Are you a DIY kind of person?

So...I think I am official "blog junkie!" I could spend hours (yes, like several hours at a time - not so good) surfing the WWW searching for new & creative ideas...only problem is I wish I HAD all the time in the world to do so & then have time to create/re-create the ideas I find. And let's not forget an unlimited budget or money in general! I stumbled upon this Do-It-Yourself or DIY blog and I think it is just fabulous! One of those you just have to share...with lots of great ideas!

Also, check out this awesome idea over @ The Pleated Poppy Blog - Family Rules Canvas!

We had an AWESOME weekend in Dallas/Fort Worth...despite the Aggies, well you know! Sorry, I've neglected you this week. I have my FIRST craft show this Saturday and I'm busy, busy, sewing, sewing, sewing! I know what was I thinking?!?! Hopefully, it will be a success & I don't lose my mind in between now & then...or maybe I already have, ha! I promise to post photos of last weekend and also photos of Honey B. Boutiques' booth from this upcoming weekend.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!
