Brady has recently learned to say one of the dog's names. I was just sure he would say Coco before Reno but nope, Reno it is. He has been saying "dawg" for some time now, as I'd like to think that was his officially word other than momma & dada. I was finally able to get it on video.
More for our sake and the grandparents sake. Even though I think it is insanely cute...not bais or anything.

I'm tired, I'm worn...
Today got the best of me. It wasn't my finest, shining moment. But it ended ever so sweet.
As I rocked, swayed, and did whatever it took to get Brady to sleep tonight this song came over his radio speakers.
And it was what I needed to let go and forgive myself for the way I had acted earlier. For I often carry around a pity-party or guilt after I've so-called "lost it!"
Since he was born, he's had music on in his room and it's either on K-Love or the other local Christian radio station. He loves music and I hope the songs of worship will seep into his little body and he will soak up God's goodness.
But tonight it was clearly ministering to me and I allowed myself to break down walls that I've built up.
To let redemption win.
And I'm sure it's not coincidence that as soon as the song started and I started singing it through tears...Brady fell gently to sleep. In my arms.
Which hardly ever happens these days.
I hugged him a little tighter, told him I was sorry for being impatient and how much I loved him.
Then just let the tears fall...
Because as a mother...I'm worn even before the day begins.
Thank you Lord for pouring out your mercies even when we don't deserve it.
The eternal God is your refuge,
and underneath are the everlasting arms.
He will drive out your enemy before you,
saying, ‘Destroy him!’
and underneath are the everlasting arms.
He will drive out your enemy before you,
saying, ‘Destroy him!’
-Deuteronomy 33:27

Saviour King
I could listen to this song on repeat.all.day.long. And tonight that's just what I'm doing as everyone else is snoozing away.
I have a million things to do in preparation for Christmas. Like sew/embroider last minute gifts. But instead I'm finding myself just wanting to worship at His feet. Singing praises to Him for what He has done.
For He is good.
Even when we feel as if the world around us is collapsing.
Even when we feel alone, in what should be the most joyous time of the year.
Even when we feel inadequate in our daily lives.
Even when we don't understand the why's of this life.
He alone is good.
I read on Twitter the other day, "your presence is the best present you can give your kids this year."
Being presence in their little lives, drawing from their sweet little minds, seeing His love through their innocent little hearts. Loving and praising them for even the littlest of things they have done.
What if this could ring true with our Saviour King.
Our presence is the best gift we can give Him this year.
Being in His presence, allowing Him to be present in our lives, drawing strength from Him, seeing His love through the hearts of others. Loving and praising Him even for the littlest of things He has done.
After all, He is the reason we celebrate the season of Christmas. And all He wants is to love on us.
So what better way to celebrate than at His feet...worshiping and thanking Him.
Loving Him.
For He alone is good.
This Christmas season, we love you Lord, we worship you. You are our God and you alone are good.
You asked your son
To carry this
The heavy cross
Our weight of sin

This Christmas season, we love you Lord, we worship you. You are our God and you alone are good.
And now the weak say I have strength
By the spirit of power
And now the poor stand and confess
That my portion is served and I'm more than blessed
And now our hearts burn with a flame
A fire consuming all for your son's holy name
And with the heavens we declare you our king
We love you Lord
We worship you
You are our God
You alone are good.
And now your church shine as the bride
That you saw in your heart as you offered up your life
And now the lost being welcomed home by the saved and redeemed, those adopted as your own
And now our hearts burn with a flame
A fire consuming all for your son's holy name
And with the heavens we declare you our king
We love you Lord
We worship you

Someone learned to CLAP...
We've been teaching how to clap for a few weeks now. Just off and on when I think about it. Well during breakfast this morning, he just started clapping away! Made my heart explode! He makes me so proud! He also makes that "garrrr" sound all the time. Not sure exactly what it is but one day after he came home from riding the tractor with daddy, he was making it and has ever since. So maybe it's the sound of the tractor? He is always trying to mimic any sound that we make. I think once he starts talking, he won't stop...just like momma! ;)

Sing me a song...
On the way to our family reunion last week, Brady just started "singing" out of nowhere. He loves music! Since he was born, he has had music in his room that plays while he naps and throughout the night. AB also sings to him all the time.
I thought it was too cute not to share! B. making his singing debut, ha! ;)

He IS With You
"He Is With You" by Mandisa
"We may weep for a time but joy will come in the morning...the morning light" My most favorite part of the song. I love this song and I think it covers so many circumstances to which often makes us wonder if He really is here with us. I saw Mandisa perform at the Women of Faith concert over little over a year ago - incredible! This song is off her new record, Freedom.

This Kind of Love
I am so excited...I made my first ever video today & uploaded my first YouTube video ever! I know, someone has way too much time on their hands. I love music and throughout the day I just let iTunes play while I'm cleaning, sewing, etc. and I happened to hear this song by Sister Hazel, "This Kind of Love" well I just fell in love. Made me think of Allen and all the reasons why I love him. Because "This Kind of Love" is exactly what I found when I found Allen. I decided I would use all photos that were related to when we got married. Engagement, wedding, and honeymoon photos. I can not say enough sweet, wonderful things about my husband. He is always doing such sweet things for me and things that I'm like "wish I knew how to do that!" I couldn't wait for Allen B. to get home so I could show him what I did with my time today. I was incredibly productive...can't ya tell?! I can't wait to make more videos and share them with you all.
